About College

Nanasaheb Yashvantrao Narayanrao Chavan Arts, Science & Commerce College, Chalisgaon is run by Rashtriya Sahakari Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Ltd. Chalisgaon Dist. Jalgaon. The College was established in June 1984 and is affiliated to the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. The College is Grant-in-aid, affiliated and co-education system. The College was first accredited in January 2004 and was awarded B+ by the NAAC. In the Second cycle of NAAC Reaccreditation our institute excelled and achieved 'A' grade with CGPA 3.10, in 2012. Similarly, in 2013 North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon bestowed upon us 'Best College Award' in the University. In Academic Audit conducted by the University we were again given 'A' grade.

They occupy a nuclear place in personal, social and national progress. Our College runs in consonance with the following core values:

1. Spreading higher education among students from the rural and remote area.

3. Developing patriotic, self-reliant and disciplined youth as the wealth of the nation.
4. Creating awareness among the students about the environmental, global and national issues like pollution, terrorism, illiteracy, communal disharmony and making them contribute to solving these issues.
5. Promoting the practices of environmental and water conservation and use of non-conventional sources of energy.
6. Catering to the needs of the society at large through outreach programmes or activities.
